About

Writing has been my constant companion since childhood—long before I could even form letters on a page, I was weaving stories aloud for anyone who would listen. My aunt still reminds me how I'd captivate our family with tales that seemed to flow from somewhere beyond my young imagination. Now I understand that "somewhere" was God, blessing me with a gift I'm called to steward.

As a Christian wife and mother (I have three children ages 16, 4, and 3), I've learned that the greatest love stories aren't just between hero and heroine—they're about God's unfailing love reaching into every corner of our lives. He doesn’t want the perfect. He perfects the broken. This truth runs through every story I write.

My love affair with historical romance began with Jane Austen's novels, which I devoured throughout my childhood and teen years. There's something about the elegance and refined manners of bygone eras that speaks to me. Maybe it's the way those times demanded intentionality in relationships, or how love had to be expressed through glances, letters, and carefully chosen words. And the language, oh the language!

When inspiration strikes—whether from a photograph, a snippet of overheard conversation, or a dream—I find myself scrambling for my phone to capture the story as it unfolds in my mind. Then, when I start to write, God will often speak a word to me of inspiration, usually a biblical character, and their story will influence what I’m writing.

Outside of that....

I love cafes!

I am an unabashed coffee and tea drinker, and cafe-hopping is my absolute favourite activity. My love of teas and coffees started when I was young and my uncle and I would sit for afternoon tea at 4 o’clock every day. As I got older, tea gave way to coffee, but I haven’t abandoned my tea times.

Since 2016, I've worked as a professional ghostwriter, helping others find their voices while I developed my own. Before that, I served as administrator of the Bridgetown Historic District, where my love for history grew even deeper. But beyond writing, I am a worship leader and the director of Greatness Publishing, the publishing arm of Divine Visitation Assemblies.

My writing is ministry—evangelism through the page. I believe that as readers get lost in tales of romance and redemption, the Holy Spirit can reach from those pages and touch them where they most need it. My prayer is that every reader finds inspiration, encouragement, and entertainment, but most importantly, that they encounter the greatest love story ever told: God's love for them.
